The Gatherings: A Modern and Luxurious Residence Designed by Stanley Chou

Creating a Pure and Comfortable Living Space for a Three-Generation Family

The Gatherings stands out with its unique features and strengths. The design showcases the exquisite and luxurious experience of a house while maintaining a warm and comfortable ambiance. Each area of the residence has been carefully planned to meet the preferences of every family member. The public area features delicate Italian imported thin slabs, marble, and steel patterned veneer, creating an atmospheric and beautiful spatial tone. The integration of the surrounding pine trees, balcony scenery, and functional equipment further enhances the overall design.

The realization of The Gatherings involved the use of high-quality materials such as wooden steel, marble, stone, titanium-plated metal, imported ceramics, and high-tech equipment. The furniture design and imported kitchenware add to the overall sophistication of the residence.

The interior design of The Gatherings spans approximately 198 square meters and includes an entrance, living room, dining room, kitchen, balcony, eight bedrooms, and four bathrooms. The layout has been meticulously planned to ensure smooth circulation and optimal use of space.

The Gatherings is not only visually stunning but also highly functional. The design team took into account the clients' belief in traditional Chinese Feng Shui principles and collaborated with a Feng Shui master to create a suitable living space for the entire family. Additionally, hidden door designs were implemented to enhance the aesthetics of the space. Modern technology and design ingenuity were utilized to improve the overall functionality of the residence, resulting in a comfortable and ideal home for the family of eight.

The project was completed in February 2020 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to ensure the integration of various natural materials and modern high-tech equipment. Smart devices were incorporated into the living room, dining room, kitchen, and other areas to enhance the functionality of the space and minimize energy waste.

The design and construction of The Gatherings presented several challenges. The clients' strong belief in traditional Chinese Feng Shui and the multi-generational nature of the household required careful consideration of each family member's living habits and preferences. Additionally, the house had a water leakage problem, which was resolved through advanced engineering processes to ensure a healthy and safe environment.

Stanley Chou's design philosophy for The Gatherings revolves around natural aesthetics and creating a creative atmosphere that resonates with the clients. By combining modern homey design, exquisite design techniques, various natural materials, and modern high-tech equipment, each space in The Gatherings exudes uniqueness and maximizes the emotional connection with the clients.
